The scientific Iranian Journal of Insurance Research (IJIR) is published quarterly with open and free access. The publisher of this FREE CHARGE journal is the Insurance Research Center (IRC), and it is published in cooperation with the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance. The IJIR covers and publishes original research articles in the insurance-related fields. This journal, respecting publication ethics rules, follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adheres to the executive regulations of the law on preventing and combating fraud in scientific works. All submitted manuscripts are first checked for similarity and plagiarism using iThenticate, TIK, and Samim-e-Noor as reliable software to ensure their originality, and then meticulously peer-reviewed by specialized referees. IJIR uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.

 

The IJIR undertakes rigorous peer-review and refereeing of all manuscripts and publishes high-quality articles in the following fields:

Comparative studies in the field of insurance; Corporate Governance in Insurance Companies; Economics of finance/ insurance; Financial/ Applied Mathematics; Financial markets; Future research in the insurance industry; Industrial organization of insurance markets; Insurance Companies Accounting and International Financial; Reporting Standards; Insurance marketing & sales; Insurance pricing; Insurance rights; Insurance social studies; Loss adjuster in insurance; New insurance technologies; Risk assessment in insurance; Risk management in the insurance industry; and Islamic finance.

In the new evaluation of journals by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 2024, the IJIR successfully obtained a scientific rank of Grade A for the third consecutive year. Furthermore, the journal has consistently maintained an Impact Factor (IF) in the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC). For more information, please refer to this address. As this journal is an open-access research journal, access to the full papers as well as publication in the IJIR is free, and the journal waives the fees of publishing for authors also charges no further fees. The kind of License permitted by the IJIR is Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), which means the papers are published freely and authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions. Also, the users and readers are permitted to share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format. Furthermore, they are permitted to remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially, and these freedoms cannot be revoked as long as they follow the license terms and cite the materials.

In the IJIR, there is no charge to authors for reviewing and publishing their articles, and articles are published for free.
