The Iranian Journal of Insurance Research (IJIR) is been published since 2012 by the Insurance Research Center (IRC) as a publisher. The publisher of this journal is the Insurance Research Center (IRC), and it is published in cooperation with the Iranian Association of Islamic Finance. The activities of the Insurance Research Center are classified into four sets: “research projects”, “training”, “dissertation projects”, and “publication of books and journals”. The strategic guideline of IRC mandates its research body to tailor the technical knowledge of insurance, risk and actuary to meet the scientific needs and to solve the problems of the insurance industry through conducting thorough studies and training. The Iranian Journal of Insurance Research is supported and sponsored by the Insurance Research Center. The scientific Iranian Journal of Insurance Research (IJIR) is published quarterly with open and free access, and all accepted and published manuscripts are free of charge.
